The Daily Practice by Making You Happen

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 September 2026

The Daily Practice is run by Kathryn Newey, trading as Making You Happen, in England. This page explains, in plain English, what we know about you and what we do with it. The short version: we collect only what the practice needs, we never sell it, and your journal is yours alone.

What we collect

How we use it

Your journal and the card readings

Your daily reading is written with the help of an AI service (Cerebras). It receives only the names and meanings of your three cards, your energy state, and your journey stage. It never receives your name, your email, or a single word of your journal. Your journal is never shared with anyone or anything.

Services we rely on

Each of these sees only what it needs to do its job.

Cookies

One cookie, to keep you logged in. No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no advertising.

Your rights

You can ask to see everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything in it. Deletion means deletion: your entries, journal, draws, and account are removed. Email us at info@makingyouhappen.net and we'll sort it, normally within a few days. You can also complain to the UK's Information Commissioner (ico.org.uk) if you think we've got something wrong.

How long we keep things

For as long as you have an account. If you delete your account, your data goes with it.

Changes

If we ever change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email you before it takes effect.
